- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆My husband took a friend to Joey's for his birthday. We had heard good things about this restaurant and thought we would try it. My husband ordered the fish and shrimp with fries. The fries were good but the fish was indistinguishable amid the batter. It was the thickness of a credit card. The shrimp were small which was ok but badly overcooked and very dark. The waitress came over to see what was wrong as she could tell I was hesitating eating my food. She replaced the order and the shrimp came cooked perfect but the fish ... well the batter was cooked well. Probably won't return.
