  We went for Mother's Day dinner. What a mistake! We made reservations for 5:15 and arrived at the restaurant on time. The place was mobbed. I fought my way through the crowd and told the hostess that I had a reservation. She said "Wait over there (in the crowd) and we'll call you". It soon became obvious that most of the crow, like me, had reservations. We waited about 25 minutes before we were called. We were seated and it took another 10 minutes before a waitress approached us. This is a buffet style restaurant. We went to the buffet area and there was not a plate to be found anywhere. I found a soup bowl near the soup and filled it with salad bar items. I figured, give them a few minutes to catch up. About five minutes later I returned to the buffet area and still no plates. Everyone was wandering around looking for plates. About five more minutes passed and a guy appeared with a cart full of dishes. I grabbed a plate and went to fill it. One serving area had crab legs and people were gathered around waiting for the empty crab bin to be refilled and blocking access to the other food items in the area. In general bins were empty or nearly empty, dishes were unavailable, service was worse than poor and prices were outrageous. I feel it unfair that I pay a premium so some idiot can load up two plates with crab legs to the point were they're falling off. Buffet prices should be lowered and crab legs should be table service at extra charge. If the dishwasher can't keep up. break open a new box of plates. People shouldn't have to be waiting for bins to be refilled. They should be refilled before they become empty not after. It was a terrible dining experience and set me back $40 p/p. I could have done way better for that price, I'm sure.

  What needs explanation???? This place is incredible, with selections for every palate. You can also purchase mini plush pandas for $20. #cute

  Absolutely the best Mandarin restaurant I have been too. I been to more than 8 Mandarin restaurant around the GTA area and this one so far is the best one out of all of them. First of all the service as usual is perfect. There was a higher level of attention to everything at this one location and it was very obvious. The second I would take my last sip of of my drink I would get asked right away if I needed a refill. This location also has more options when it comes to the salad bar and a couple of more options for the main dishes compared to the other branches I been to which is good. I think the reason why this branch is very successful is because of the manager. She was very nice and she made sure everything was running smoothly and the way it should. It was also the first female manager I would see at a Mandarin restaurant so bravo. The food quality was good and didn't have any problems with the buffet in general so would for sure recommend this branch to everyone.
