- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Recently, a friend of mine went the Pepper, and faced transphobic treatment from the staff at this bar. He and a friend were harassed, thrown out of the bathroom and treated in a absolutely despicable manner. Can't say I ever see the need to go here again, and I certainly hope others learn of this unsavoury behaviour and condemn these acts of transphobia and maltreatment.By Alanna Vosper, January 11, 2017
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I'd give them less than 1 star if I could. Terrible service, horrible, transphobic staff. Not LGBTQ+ friendly. A friend was harassed for using the men's washroom, hollered at, and even had an alarm rung on him for simply using the washroom. He told the staff his gender but it made no difference. I'm disgusted. Don't go to this place. Terrible place, terrible people, terrible staff. Don't waste your money here.By Emma Silver, September 09, 2016
